ヒヨコ
体長約15cmのかわいいヒヨコ。260の透けない黄色・白・透けないオレンジ・水色それぞれ1本で作ります。足は、ふくらませないで空気を吹き入れただけの風船をゆるく結んでいます。体を灰色で作って白鳥の雛にしてもいいですね。 Chick: A small and pretty baby bird.

260透けない黄色は尻尾を15cmほど残してふくらませる。白は5cm、透けないオレンジは2.5cmの長さにふくらませ、ブルーは息を吹き入れてピンとさせた状態でしばっておく。
Inflate a yellow 260 leaving 15cm uninflated tail.

>>>体を作る>>>まず黄色で3cmのボール。次に直径7cmの輪ひねり(頭になる)。
Twist a 3cm bubble and a 7cm loop.

10cmのソーセージ2つを折り曲げてまとめひねり(胴体の羽部分になる)。
Make a pair of 10cm bubbles then lock them.

14cmのソーセージ(おなかになる)、3.5cmのボール(シッポ)。余分はしぼませ、しばってから切り捨てる。
Twist a 14cm bubble and a 3.5cm bubble, then deflate, tie and remove the excess.

おなかになる14cmのソーセージを、
Slowly bending, wedge a 14cm bubble between the lock twist.

ソーセージ2本の間に押し込んでいき、

シッポのボールを上に残し、下で湾曲させる。

大まかな形ができた。

シッポの下、お尻の位置にあるひねりを、すこし戻す。
Untwist the hip point a little.

そこだけ細くなったまま、かわいいお尻になる。

>>>くちばしを作る>>>2.5cmの長さにふくらませたオレンジは、両端を結び合わせ、
Inflate a orange 260 to 2.5cm, and tie both ends together, then cut off the remainder.

余分は切り落としておく。

>>>目玉を作る>>>5cmふくらませた白は、2分割。
Inflate a white 260 to 5cm, and twist in half.

折り曲げて、端と端を結び合わせ、
Tie both ends together, and discard the excess.

>>>部品を組み合わせる>>>黄色のボールに付いている口巻きを引っぱって、目玉の間にひっかけて取り付ける。
Taking the knot of yellow 260, wrap into the white lock twist.

オレンジの口巻きを、目玉のもう片方に引っかけて取り付ける。
Taking the knot of orange 260, wrap through the other side of white lock twist.

黄色のボール・白の目玉・オレンジのくちばしがつながった。

輪ひねりの中に、黄色のボールをはめ込んで、まず目玉の上部が固定された。
Wedge the yellow bubble( first twist ), into the loop twist.

今度はオレンジの口巻きを引っぱって、首(輪ひねりの元)にぐるっと巻き付ける。目玉の下とくちばしが固定された。
Taking the knot of orange, wrap around the chick's neck.

くちばしの上下をつぶして、横に広い楕円にする。
Squeeze the orange bubble so to be a oval.

>>>足を作る>>>息を吹き入れてしばってあるブルーは、端の方をゆるやかに結ぶ。
Make a loose knot on both sides of a puffed pale blue 260.

同様にもう片端も結んでおく。

V字に折って、おなかの下にセロテープで貼り付ける。
Fold and glue to the bottom of chick by scotch tape.

マーカーで黒目を描いて完成。
Add eyes by a black marker.
