キリン(大)
身長約80cm。260ゴールデンロッド4本で作ります。前脚と後ろ脚は、ひねらないで組み合わせてあります。完成後によく引っぱって締めておきましょう。ぐずぐずのままだと胴長になるし、安定しません。脚の長さを揃えて形を整えると、しっかり自立します。 Giraffe: Twisting point is very few in this body, so stability is good.

ゴールデンロッド(山吹色)を、ほぼいっぱいまでふくらませた物を2本・尻尾を7cm残してふくらませた物を1本・尻尾を12cm残した物を1本用意する。
Inflate two goldenrod 260s in all, and soften.

Join them as follows not twisting any part.

中心に手を入れ、

下の2本をつかんですくい上げる。(少しすくった所でとめておくこと)

すくってできた山の下に、尻尾を7cm残してふくらませたもう1本を、結び口の方から差し込み、
Inflate a goldenrod 260 leaving 7cm uninflated, pass under the body.

横に通して突き出す。

両側を持って下向きに巻き付けながら、
Roll around the body, and twist with itself.

結び口側にボールを作って輪ひねりする。これで前脚と後ろ脚の組み合わせが固定された。こちらは腹側になる。

長く残ったソーセージを、前脚2本の間から差し込み、
Insert the remaining long bubble through the front body to be a neck.

上向きに引っぱっていく。左は横から見た図。

引っ張りきってぴんと伸ばすと、首ができた。

お腹側から見た参考図。

尻尾を7cm残してふくらませた物に、4cmのボール。
Inflate a goldenrod 260 leaving 7cm uninflated, twist a 4cm bubble.

結び口をぐるっとからめて固定する。
Then pinch twist by passing the knot through.

続けて3cmのボール。
Make another 3cm pinch twist.

そのボールをしぼりひねり。口になる。

9cmのソーセージで顔を作った後、3.5cm・2.5cm・2.5cm・3.5cmと4個のボールをまとめひねり。ツノになる。
Twist a 9cm bubble for face followed by 3.5cm, 2.5cm, 2.5cm, 3.5cm then lock them for two horns.

直径7cmの輪ひねり2つで耳に。顔のできあがり。
Make two 7cm loops for ears.

余分はしぼませて、
Deflate the remainig bubbles, tie and remove the rest.

しばって切り捨てる。

首の先端、ふくらんでいない部分を顔に巻き付けて、取り付ける。
Wrap the uninflated portion of the neck around the head.

完成。
